Our new arrival. Woke up yesterday morning to this beautiful sight...

She's looks JUST like her momma, CC, so we are calling her MeMe. :)

My babies and me...

We went boating yesterday.
76 and sunny is what the weatherman would say.
When we first arrived it was awesome...
the sun was shining, that's for certain.
Then the clouds came a comin'.
Time to wrap up in a curtain (OK, it was a sweatshirt..I never claimed to be Mrs. Suess!)
Then the clouds went away
and we stopped to play.
All in all, it was a very blessed day...

"Come on in, Momma" is what the kids would say.
I put in my big toe and replied, "NO WAY!"
Cuz I'm fun like that and all...

Another baby none too eager...

Remember back in January when Abby took FOR E VER to have Dungy? Well, our other mare, CC, if following suit. She was due on April 5th and here we are...on the 17th...and still no babe! I tried to get some shots of her so you can see how ginormous she is...

She seems pretty content today though. She's grazing and being all nonchalant! I went out and had a chat with her...she seemed totally uninterested in what I had to say.

I will take some pics when the little one arrives. :) And oh, Dungy is doing AWESOME! Here is what he's looking like these days...

Oh yea...he thinks he's hot stuff, big man on campus, da bomb, Rico Suave...mmmm hmmm.

Thing 3's new DO!

OK, so...Kel calls me this morning to wish me a happy birthday (cuz that's the kind of BFF she is...thoughtful and all) and she says..."I'm blogging again and you should too...you can even do it from your cell phone now." Those might not have been her words exactly but I'm sure they were something like that.

So....here I am (cuz I cave to peer pressure).

I thought I would blog about Thing 3's new hair cut. If you recall...she had hair down past the middle of her back. And while her hair was beautiful that long it was a NIGHTMARE to take care of. She has thick slightly wavy hair that tangles like nobody's business. Yesterday, it took me 30 minutes to brush through it...and that was with it loaded with conditioner.

Long story short...after much convincing...she decided it MIGHT be better if we cut it shorter. Here is the finished product....

Know what I love most??? I mean...really....I LOVE this part....these pics were taken this MORNING! Yea, after she had slept on it allll night. You just don't know how happy I am right at this very moment as I look at her perfectly non-tangled hair. It's the simple things in life...

Hi....I ain't dead...

Howdy, you'ins member me? I'm still livin' and I ain't dead or nothin'. I done been spendin' too much time on that there Facebook thingamajiggy and I thunk it's kilt some of my brain cells. But I don't want none of yues ta worry bout me none. I reckon I's be a'ight.

This video absolutely, positively gave me goosebumps. AND, I turned my head to the side, pushed my eyebrows together and said, "aaaawwwwwww" right out loud. I bet you do the same. :)

Dungy is back to 100%

It has been a long couple of weeks for this little guy. It got so bad at one time that we were certain he would have to be put down. BUT, he's a fighter and today....after 9 straight days of treatment.....he is back to 100%. Here are a couple of recent pics of him. Thank you to all that wrote asking about him. It is soooo good to see him out playing.

Now...I want to apologize for being MIA lately. Truth is...it's Facebook. What a thought for several months was just weird is now my new addiction. Do you Facebook? Wanna be friends? Find me at Angie Perkins Davis.
